Mohamed Salah has to be dragged away as he argues with Sadio Mane over penalty

Mohamed Salah had to be dragged away as he argued with Sadio Mane over penalty duties in Liverpool’s pre-season friendly clash with Manchester United in Michigan.
The two Premier League heavyweights faced off on Saturday evening, though Jose Mourinho quipped beforehand that it was ‘Liverpool’s first team versus Manchester United’s second team’.
Liverpool were on top in the early exchanges and were given the opportunity to take the lead from the spot when Salah was bundled over by Demetri Mitchell inside the area.
But Salah appeared to argue with Mane over who should take the penalty, and eventually had to be dragged away by James Milner.

Mane duly dispatched the penalty, planting the ball in the bottom corner despite Lee Grant guessing the right way, and the former Southampton winger was keen to make amends with his teammate afterwards.

Liverpool’s lead did not last long in Michigan, with Andreas Pereira scoring a stunning free-kick to level the scores, but the Reds ran riot in the second half to claim a 4-1 victory over their Premier League rivals.
